Biography
Nathaniel Koh is the Deputy Treasurer of the Workers' Party Central Executive Committee (CEC). His past roles include serving as President of the WP Youth Wing (2023-2024), Vice-President (2021-2023), Secretary (2012-2014), and Executive Committee Member (2009-2012). He also led the Urban Policy Team from 2012 to 2017 and worked as a Secretarial Assistant to MP Pritam Singh from 2016 to 2020.
Nathaniel finds meaning in contributing to Singapore's political development and building a credible party that Singaporeans can trust. His vision for Singapore is to create a home where people can raise a family, earn a good living, and retire comfortably. He aspires for WP to be a rational, respectable, and responsible political alternative that helps shape Singapore’s future.
Professionally, Nathaniel is involved in IT Project Management, focusing on roles such as Scrum Master and Product Owner in the Agile space. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Information Systems Management from Singapore Management University and a Diploma in Information Technology from Temasek Polytechnic.
Family is important to Nathaniel. He is married with two sons. Raised by his maternal grandparents from nursery to primary school, he developed a close bond with them. He was responsible for their administrative death arrangements and had party leaders, including Mr. Low and Sylvia Lim, attend their wakes.
Nathaniel has been an active Toastmaster since 2000, holding various leadership roles in the organisation and contributing to the development of communication and leadership skills in himself and others.
A fun fact about Nathaniel is his long-time passion for professional wrestling. He follows wrestling news and highlights, and appreciates the storytelling and promos in the sport, which also sparked his interest in Toastmasters.
