Biography
Fadli Fawzi currently serves as the Deputy Organising Secretary for the Workers' Party. He has been with the party since 2013. During this time, he has helped out in various roles such as assisting with Meet-the-People sessions, organising grassroots events, engaging in the party's outreach efforts through Hammer sales and house visits, and supporting the party's policy team. He was part of the WP Marine Parade GRC team in 2020.
Currently, the work he enjoys the most with the party is conducting monthly policy sessions for members and volunteers, as he believes that engaging with policy issues is an important part of his development as a member of a political party and a citizen. He hopes that both the Workers' Party and Singapore will be places in which people can have open, rational and informed discussions about such issues.
Outside of politics, Fadli is a lawyer with Inkwell Law Corporation, specialising in litigation work. He had his early education at Jaya Primary School, Victoria School and Nanyang Junior College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science (2nd upper) and a Master of Social Science in Sociology from National University of Singapore. He then worked as a policy development officer in the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) before making the career switch into law. He graduated from the Singapore Management University Juris Doctor program (Cum Laude) and has been practising as a lawyer since 2017.
Fadli is married and blessed with a daughter and two cats. He enjoys reading, going to the gym and following current affairs and politics.
