Vision for Singapore

Paris joined the Workers' Party to be a part of a dynamic team representing the voices of Singaporeans and to advocate for necessary changes. She values the passionate and formidable team.

She also advocates for better job opportunities for ex-offenders, aiming to support their reintegration into society without the burden of past stigma. From her experience, many ex-offenders are often restricted to low-paying roles—such as logistics assistants, drivers, movers, or chefs—due to the limitations imposed by their criminal records, which hinder access to better prospects.

Philosophy and Passions

Paris is deeply committed to helping society. As a dedicated volunteer with local organisations, she supports victims of trauma and mentors former offenders, guiding them as they rebuild their lives and reintegrate into the community.

Paris has a keen interest in non-fiction books and thought-provoking quotations. Her favourite book is Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl, and her favourite quote is, “Conscience is the chamber of justice,” by Origen.
