Career and Education
Andre’s career reflects his commitment to taking on new challenges. Starting out as a disputes lawyer with Drew & Napier under the tutelage of Senior Counsel Davinder Singh, he then ventured into the startup space, building products in legal-tech, urban mobility, and health-tech that connected people and solved real-world problems.
His experience led him to Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he helped startups across Asia harness cloud technology to scale their impact. As a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he worked on transformation and upskilling initiatives that prepared organisations for future challenges. Today, Andre applies his diverse experience as a Staff Product Manager at a global fintech company.
Andre holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from University College London, where he graduated 3rd in his cohort, and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, where he was a Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholar. He is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Bar, though he is not in active practice.
Involvement with the Workers’ Party
Andre joined the Workers’ Party in 2020. Following WP’s watershed Sengkang GRC win in the 2020 General Election, he was appointed as Secretarial Assistant to MP Louis Chua and tasked with the running of Meet-the-People Sessions (MPS). Faced with the challenge of pandemic lockdowns, Andre built a full-fledged digital MPS solution that maintained residents’ critical line to their MP—a system that continues serving the Sengkang community today.
Since 2023, Andre has been a core member of the Workers’ Party media team, where he led the modernisation of the party’s digital presence and contributed strategic insights on communication and messaging.
Through his grassroots work, Andre has connected with Singaporeans whose stories have profoundly shaped his perspective—from young single parents struggling to balance work and caregiving to those caught at the margins of our support systems.

Philosophy and Passions
Andre believes that communities thrive when they nurture bold thinking and compassionate action in equal measure. He sees progress as meaningful only when it uplifts all of society rather than concentrating benefits among a few. His creative pursuits and love of building inform his belief that our shared future must be written with both imagination and empathy.
Andre enjoys skiing, building with Lego, and tinkering with electronics. He is also a competent amateur beatboxer.
